Biography
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas in Austin (1985). I received my Master's and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, California (1995).
I have received training in evaluating and treating numerous psychological issues. I have a special interest in working in depth with clients, that is, working on issues long enough and deep enough to get at the root causes.
I am a member of several professional associations: the American Psychological Association, the Texas Psychological Association, and the Dallas Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology.
I have held positions of leadership in a couple of local professional associations, including being president of the Dallas Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology (2003-2004).
I am married, have two children and live in the North Dallas area.
